Terms of service

Last updated: 25 October 2026. By creating an account or using SecreTie (secretie.chat, secretie.app and @SecreTieBot, operated by Secretie.Inc), you agree to these terms, our Community guidelines and our Privacy policy.

1. Who can join

• You must be 18 or older, or older if your location channel or the law of your location sets a higher age.
• You must be a real person. One account per person, used only by you.
• You can't join if we've banned you before.

2. Your account

• Give true details. Your gender is set once, at sign-up.
• You sign in with a code sent to your email (or through Telegram). Keep access to them safe: you're responsible for what happens on your account.
• SecreTie will never ask for your sign-in code or password.

3. Rules

• Follow the Community guidelines. They are part of these terms.
• Contact details (phone numbers, links, messaging IDs) aren't allowed in your info, posts or invitations. You may share them in a private chat.
• Never use SecreTie for scams, asking for money, fake profiles, illegal trade, drugs, human trafficking, violence or harassment.
• Don't copy members' content, collect their data, or use bots or automation on SecreTie.

4. Points and payments

• SecreTie uses free points and ST-points. ST-points are bought in the web app at secretie.app; payments are handled by Stripe. Prices are shown before you pay.
• Points are a licence to use features in SecreTie. They are not money, have no cash value, and can't be transferred, sold or exchanged.
• Posts and invitations use points as shown in the app. Invitations that the post owner doesn't choose aren't refunded.
• No refunds for bought points, except where the laws and regulations of your location require one.
• Unused points are lost when an account is closed, or banned for breaking these terms.
• We may change prices, free points, gift boxes, tickets and promotions. Changes don't affect points you already have.

5. Your content

• You own what you post and send. You give us permission to store, show, process and keep it as needed to run SecreTie, keep members safe and follow the law, as described in the Privacy policy.
• Only share what you have the right to share.
• We may blur or block words, and remove any content that breaks these terms.

6. Safety

• Never send money, gift cards or crypto to someone you met on SecreTie. Check ⚠️ Common Scam in any chat.
• Tell your friend before meeting in public places.
• You are responsible for how you deal with other members, on and off SecreTie.

7. Reports, suspensions and bans

• Our team reviews reports and may read the content involved, including chats.
• Depending on what happened, we may remove content, limit features, suspend an account (for example for 24 hours), or ban it permanently. Serious harm leads to an immediate ban.
• We may report illegal acts to the authorities and share data with them, as described in the Privacy policy.
• If you think we made a mistake, write to hello@secretie.chat.

8. Closing your account

You can close your account anytime in Settings → Close my account. Your profile, posts and invitations disappear from the app. As the Privacy policy explains, we keep all data, including chats and media, for 3 years after closing, then delete it.

9. The service

We work to keep SecreTie running and safe, but it is provided as it is and as available. We may change, pause or end features, or the whole service; if we end it, we'll tell members first.

10. Liability

To the extent the laws and regulations of your location allow, SecreTie isn't liable for the conduct of members, for loss caused by things outside our control, or for indirect loss. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law of your location that can't be limited.

11. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws and regulations of your location. You keep all the protections those laws give you.

12. Changes and contact

If we change these terms, we'll post the new version here with a new date, and tell members in the app about important changes. Using SecreTie after a change means you accept it.
